Subject: Thanks for posting this on Archive!!!

I was at this show, in the balcony and totally enjoyed the first set, yet I was fighting the flu so I got up to move around after the first set. Unfortunately for me I lost my balance on the steps and busted my head open when I fell, I woke up at Hahnemann Hospital with a stapled up forehead. I now have a Stealie scar where it happened, and I missed most of the show!
What a show I almost saw!!
Archive is such a treat to check into what I missed!
This series of shows should've been released on cd, IMHO!

Subject: My first Phil show

This was the first I saw in person, the only one thus far. I'd seen Phil and Joanie together in 2003 with the Dead, and this time around she was really a powerful force in the music - more of a lead than a backup. Phil's bass wasn't loud enough, but the lead guitar was fantastic! some great songs - althea, cosmic charlie, terrapin, even the death don't blew my mind. I was told later that this was the weakest of the three nights, but that's not saying much. This show had some terrific rhythm, rhythm that holds through in the recording.

Aligator, Althea, Charlie nice.DEATH DONT was THE SHIT!! LADY, WHEEL, TERRAPIN was a tear jerker including Rosemary Larry is the man Lovelight, sweet baby's arms, lovelight rockin. I LOVE JOAN!! MASON'S CHILDREN encore was well called for.

i sent a message to the taper and he seemed to be a little unclear as to the nature of the problem with disc 3/track 2.
Hopefully someone can resolve this error. It's a pretty nice upfront recording.
One other nit though - there is plenty of space to apply a crossfade to the crowd noise following Althea.
Instead the track continues until the opening notes of Cosmic Charlie. Disc 2 begins in the middle of the opening notes for Cosmic Charlie.
It's a minor nit, but in light of the time it takes to make the torrent, please take the time to do it right.
I am enjoying disc 1 and 2. I will await the fix for disc 3. I give it four stars and will change to five when the fixes are made.

SMOOTHNESS AS USUAL AT THE TOWR, 99 AT THE TOWER WAS SICK AND THIS NIGHT SOUNDS GREAT AND HAVEN'T HEARD THE 25TH YET BUT WAS AT THE 26TH AND HOPE TO SEE IT UP HERE SOOOOOOOOON SUNDAY NIGHT WAS HEAVENLY AND THE ENERGY PHIL BRINGS WITH HIM IS SO ELECTRIFYING AND IT FEELS SOOOOO GOOD TO GET MY PHIL! Subject: Missing The Wheel

HEAD'S UP DOWNLOADERS!! A flaw was dicovered in this source. D3t02 - The Wheel is only 2.5MB which contains only 27 seconds of the introdution jam of The Wheel. I am working with the taper to get the corrected track into circulation and added to this Archive file set. Be patient, it could take a few days to get it all smoothed out

Subject: Phil Rocks The Tower!

This was an unbelievable start to 3 great shows here in Philly (actually Upper Darby!). The sound was phenominal & the band got your juices flowing to the point of no return! I can't wait to hear the last 2 nights on here & I hope someone can get all of "The Wheel" on here too as that was an amazing version! Great show! Great Tour! Phil rocked Philly! Thanks!

the wheel for this recording is cut very very short!!!!!! it was deffinitly one of the highlights of the show so i hope some one can fix that
